Process Switch is a control strip module which allows you to switch to a different application by clicking on its icon. To use it, drop it in the Control Strip Modules folder inside the system folder and restart.
FEATURES:
• Show Front Application Only shows the icon of the front application. Clicking brings the next application to the front, control-clicking brings the previous application to the front, and command-clicking brings the last active application to the front. The applications are ordered by when they were launched, and they're also selectable from the pop-up menu.
• Show Constant Number of Applications shows a constant number of icons, which is determined by the width of the module. Clicking on an icon brings that application to the front. If the module is resized to show only one icon, the mode changes to Show Front Application Only.
• Show All Applications shows the icons of all currently running application, adjusting the width as necessary. Clicking on an icon brings that application to the front.
• Grayed out icons are background-only processes.
• Click on the arrow to bring up the pop-up menu. Drag the size box to resize the module. Whenever the module is resized, the mode changes to Show Constant Number of Applications.
• Use balloon help to get some of the above information.
FEE:
• Free.
LIMITATIONS:
• No outline when you drag the size box.
• Can't hide applications.
• Only displays up to 25 icons.
